Popcorn came from Silly's first litter and is the lone boy at the House o' Boyne.
The history behind Popcorn's name has connections to local history and a legendary bootlegger. Boyne Labradors is located in Franklin County, VA, also known as the "Moonshine Capital of the World."
Popcorn Sutton is a nationally known bootlegger from Western North Carolina, in the area where Sue's parents live. Over the years, Mike and Sue visited Popcorn Sutton's junk store and always found him to be a memorable character. As a result, we decided to name our new boy Popcorn.
"Pop" is a lover and goofball, until it's time to train and compete in the field, then it's all business.
He loves to retrieve and is working toward his Senior Hunter title.
Popcorn is co-owned with Margaret Wilson.
